The Golf Kinematics Approach
Golf Kinematics was created around the relationship between movement and the golf swing. Golfers often spend time working on mechanics, equipment, strength, mobility, and practice, but those areas are not always considered together. Golf Kinematics brings them into the same conversation by looking at how the body moves and how that movement may influence the swing.
The approach combines golf-specific movement assessment, sports medicine, and performance technology. Rather than treating the body and the swing as separate problems, Golf Kinematics looks at how they work together.
Why Golf Kinematics Exists
The golf swing requires coordinated movement throughout the body. When mobility, coordination, or movement patterns change, the effects can manifest in various ways, including inconsistency, difficulty generating speed efficiently, fatigue, or discomfort while swinging.
Golf Kinematics was built to give golfers a more comprehensive way to examine those factors. Movement can be assessed, swing and ball data measured, and practice guided by more than feel alone. The focus is on the individual golfer.
Different players bring different movement patterns, goals, and challenges to the game, so the process starts by understanding what is happening with that golfer rather than applying the same approach to everyone.
About Your Provider
Treylan Loftis, MS, ATC, LAT
Golf Kinematics was founded by Treylan Loftis, a licensed sports medicine professional and published researcher focused on golf-specific movement and performance. The practice was developed to bring golf kinematic sequence analysis and hands-on sports medicine care together in a setting built specifically for golfers.
That approach now includes golf-specific movement assessments, Loftis Muscle Reactivation™, indoor golf technology, and ongoing performance support. The goal is to give golfers useful information about how the body is moving and how that movement relates to practice and performance.
Getting Started
Move Better. Swing Better. Play Better.
Golf Kinematics is built around helping golfers better understand how they move and how that movement relates to the game. That understanding can generate a more informed approach to practice, training, and performance.
